Frequently Asked Question

Q:           I received the stands but where are the dispenser units?
A:           In some instances, the dispenser head unit and the stands ship separately. The stand box may have an empty box where the dispenser would go.  This is for packing purposes.  If the dispenser unit is not with the stand then it has shipped separately so please check all packages including the hand sanitizer packaging (if ordered).

Q:          The packaging says “Soap Dispenser” but I ordered a Sanitizer Dispenser.  Did I get the wrong product?
A:          No, both types of dispensers use the same packaging.  We only stock and ship Sanitizer Dispensers.

Q:          The packaging mentions different types of nozzles for soap and gel.  Where do I find the other nozzles?
A:          Each product type (soap versus sanitizer) ships with the correct nozzle for that product.  Your dispenser is the sanitizer dispenser which comes with the correct sanitizer nozzle.  This nozzle will work with all types of gel or liquid solutions but is not recommended for foam-based sanitizers.

Q:          We set up the stand and dispenser, added the sanitizer gel and batteries and turned on the unit but nothing happens.  What else is needed?
A:          The dispenser units need to be primed prior to first use.  After turning on the unit, wave your hand 10 to 15 times to engage the sensor which should result in the liquid being dispensed.  Make sure that the sanitizer reservoir is seated firmly at the bottom of the dispenser case.

Q:          What are the maintenance procedures for ensuring that the sanitizer flows correctly?
A:          Use a wipe or cloth or bare hands to flick the dispensing nozzle.  Then swipe your hands 7 to 9 times to re-engage the sensor.  If your dispenser is placed in a low traffic area or is not used regularly, this routine may need to be part of your ongoing maintenance procedure.
